Idajeanne Cioffi began her musical journey as a young teen. She was inspired by bluegrass and soon after, classical music.
Having played many stringed instruments and the piano by ear, she began playing the fiddle and desired to study classical violin. At 15, she began the search for a local violin instructor to help.
At 17, she had studied for only 2 years, yet decidedly left for college to study violin performance. Basically with no repertoire under her belt, but possessing loads of technical ability and natural talent, she took on this endeavor with much criticism.
Driving herself to Nashville to audition at Belmont University, she excitedly began studies once she was awarded scholarships!
Upon graduating with honors, Idajeanne was immediately hired to perform with many famous artists. She quickly discovered her own voice's desire to find room on those stages as well.
Here emerged the start of her creation of Idaflower, which proved a difficult journey toward any successes. The fact was, her style was not the typical, yet it piqued people's curiosity and interest.
Having hid herself away, being a reclusive sort, she now has an audience interested in hearing more! This begins the latest and newest endeavor to honor her heart and continue the outer expressions, that keep coming from within.
